With our new Auto Scoring feature, quantitative assessments can be scored with a single click—so you spend less time crunching numbers and more time focusing on improvement.

How It Works:

• Enable Auto Scoring for any Quantitative Capability Template within the Template Builder.

• Complete configuration for the capabilities within the template, such as ensure setting of scoring ranges, aggregation method (e.g., Average, Sum), and an associated Metric. 

• Import Metrics like normal.

• Once set up, just click “Auto Score Assessment” in the Capablity Template Details—and watch your results appear.

Supporting New Features for Auto Scoring:

• Out-of-the-Box Metrics: Every Out-Of-The-Box Quantitative Capability comes pre-mapped to a Metric, so you’re ready to score from day one. Out check these Out-Of-The-Box Metrics in the Metrics screen. Check out the documentation to about OOTB Metrics here.

• Scoring Ranges: Every Quantitative Capability now has to option to use Scoring Ranges (instead of text). The Scoring Ranges help set clear values for each stage—enabling precise, automated scoring and easier benchmarking across teams.

• Aggregation & Units: Quantitative Capabilities now include two new attributes: Aggregation Methods and Units. These ensure your metrics are calculated correctly for auto scoring and make your results more meaningful and easy to interpret (e.g., % of coverage, number of releases). With clear labeling and consistent calculations, your data always tells a story that’s relevant to your organization.
